I am there to help capture your day while also doing my part to keep us on time, according to the timeline, maintaining communication, and creating a stree-free environment. Sometimes it is helping the groomsmen put on boutonnieres, helping organize a last-minute special first look with a military cousin who is surprising you at your wedding, or grabbing those extra shots of the bride dancing with grandma (who they didn't think would be there).
First, you get an experienced team who know how to do both photo and video. A team who sometimes know what each other is thinking without having to say a word.
Second, booking both services double the coverage you will receive while also providing different mediums. Video goes beyond photo to combine movement and audio into what otherwise would be a photo. The best parts for video are: first look (if you do one), the ceremony, and toasts. There are also little moments that can be added into your video like letter reading, gifts, sunset, drone, etc.
When I decided to upgrade cameras, I started with a class specifically on the ins and outs of that camera. Then I expanded into posing and lighting classes by Amy and Jordan Demos and Katelyn James. I've also taken classes relating to family photography, boudoir, and running a business. Currently, I am studying videography and drone as well.
