"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." This Bible verse was a part of the father of the bride's toast to the couple. He was also their officiant. He was commending the groom for stepping up and becoming the man that he needed to be, that his family needs him to be.
These two met through a cousin of the bride. They already have their own family together with a daughter and a son. It was touching watching this family together on this special day truly become a unit.
