During the toasts, the bride's daughter (age 14) shared the story of the proposal. After the groom asked the bride to marry him, he asked her to be his daughter. She explained what a special moment that was for her and her mom as she hadn't had a father figure. Later, these two also shared a very special father/daughter dance where they entertained everyone with an ongoing synchronized dance. This celebration was a full-on reminder that on a wedding day only one thing really matters (aside from marrying the person you love): being surrounded by family and friends.
Dear Fran & Dan,
I'm so privileged to have been a part of your special day! It is obvious you are happy and in love. Your laughter was contageous. At best of all you were surrounded by those closest to you. I hope you will always be able to laugh freely and be silly. Life can be too serious. Thank you for being you!
Hugs,
Stephanie
