Professional Portrait Spotlight For Excellent Guy Friend ~ Bend, OR

How often do we get 72 degree weather in late October in Oregon? Not often! So when we have it, we take advantage of it. Here's a portrait session from that weekend with a great guy friend of mine, Bill. We have known each other for almost 9 years and, in fact, he is the reason I got into photography.

When I met him, Bill was already a photographer shooting primarily nature scenes. When we would be out and about, he would often stop the car to take a shot. Since I didn't have a camera at the time, I would study what he was doing and try to figure out what he was looking at specifically, and where he was framing the shot. Fast forward to 2013 when he gifted me with my first camera, I then took those hours of watching him and combined it with the camera platform to develop my own images.
