I have to admit that this year has been hard on weddings. I feel big time for couples who had plans to get married this year but then COVID got in the way. Or fires. Or travel bans. For this couple, there was so much more. I had no idea the full story until I heard it during the ceremony!
Knowing their backstory made this day and their celebration all the more precious! I felt so blessed to be a part of their day. To capture dad's tears during the father/daughter dance. To capture grandma joining the dance floor during the Macarena. To have the mom pull me aside and thank me for taking extra stress of their plate. All of these and more are why I do what I do!
