Such a fun day shooting high school senior portraits for these two! cousins! They had seen two locations on my scenic page where they wanted their photos taken: Wildcat Creek Covered Bridge and Hug Point. We started the day at the covered bridge and these two tag teamed with a blanket to avoid the cooler early spring coastal weather. Then we drove 3 hours northward to Hug Point.
Sadly, the one thing I hadn't accounted for with Hug Point was that the tide was coming in, making the access to the waterfall there difficult. Instead, I did some more portraits of Micaela and Savannah on the trails near the parking area. We left bummed that we hadn't gotten the shots at the waterfalls. On our way south, we both pulled off at the same place seeing beautiful yellow flowers and green foliage around the railroad tracks. This stop wasn't planned but allowed for some more diversity for these two in looks and photos.
